I've always thought that getting to know different cultures brings us together and make us grow. 🌎 I've lived in the UK for 15 years, London and Bristol mainly, and I have worked as tour guide in Barcelona but Madrid is where I'm based now. Hernan led a very informative tour. He was very knowledgeable and kept the tour to a perfect amount of time.
We start in a good place, nice bar, good's cocktails but the guests want to go walk in the city and not only drinking
The guide did not show up and not even bother to cancel the tour...very disappointing
Tour was awesome! Kwame is very knowledgeable and explained us a lot about Madrids Old Town. We liked that he included the relevant historical facts as well as some fun facts. We were also able to ask lots of questions and he had some great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Do NOT sign up for this tour. Because i had read that the guide had not shown up for a previous tour, I reached out after our Cocktail Tour of Madrid was confirmed to say how excited we were to take it but never heard from him. Checked before leaving for the tour to make sure I hadn’t received a message from the guide., which I hadn’t. Arrived at the designated meeting point ten minutes early as instructed. Waited the ten minutes and then another 30 before leaving. Tried contacting the guide 15 minutes after the start time to see if he was coming but received no response. Only time I ever had a bad experience on a GuruWalks tour. Only good point was that I hadn’t paid ahead.
