Hi, my name is Gabi, and I'm passionate about travel, languages, cultures, and food, which is why I studied tourism with the idea of seeing the world. 🤠Until I arrived in San Sebastián a few years ago and decided to settle here after having some experiences abroad. This city and what connects me to it are my source of inspiration, and I'd like to share its value with you through its history, its delicious food, and some very funny anecdotes.
Very enjoyable worthwhile
It was a very informative and wonderful time with Gabo. He took the time to explain us the history and some funny anecdotes about the places we visited. I spent a really good time walking by "el casco viejo". Thank you!
The guide - Gabriel - never showed up and never texted to let me know he was not coming until I sent him a third text 10 minutes after the tour was supposed to start. His behaviour - and wasting of my time in getting there and waiting for him - was super disappointing and a very poor start to my stay in San Sebastian! The excuses he finally gave for not showing up would be laughed at by a primary school teacher. (Excuses: stomacheache and his phone was out of battery so he couldn't text in advance. If he didn't live in San Sebastian and could charge his battery I might have believed that but living there, sorry, that's unbelievable...as was the excuse of a stomach ache. If we have a stomach ache, we know in advance we're not going to be able to work so would have known how he was feeling in advance. I think I was the only person signed up for this tour so I guess he just didn't feel like turning up for 1 person.
Gabby was a great tour guide - informative and interesting. The tour was well planned and gave us a good picture of Sam Sebastián - very useful to do on our first day there!
Friendly guide, informative. Great introduction to San Sebastián Would recommend
