Hello! I am Rodrigo, born and raised in the amazing city of Buenos Aires.
Throughout my life I've also lived in Dublin, Ireland; Copenhagen, Denmark; different parts of Norway; Berlin, Gemany(I have a passion for good weather...) and also in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
I have been a tour guide for more than 8 years and across 3 cities (Buenos Aires, Copenhagen and Berlin, always in English) and also worked in tourism in Norway and Sierra Leone. I really enjoy what I do.
I studied political science and journalism, currently I am studying tourism and sustainable development and I also write. I try and mix what I’ve learned in all the places I have lived on my tours so I can tell you a story and make you feel as if you were actually watching it happen.
I am enthusiastic, outgoing and love telling stories, anecdotes and sharing my knowledge of the city I live in. And I also like to have fun, so it is not all about history... ask what you want to know!
Can do tours in English and Spanish, so get in touch in any of these 2 languages if you have any questions or want a tailor made tour.
Juiciest details of Buenos Aires’ history. Absolutely fun, entertaining, on top of informative. Not your usual historical tour, expect to have a blast!
Rodrigo gives a truly excellent tour of Buenos Aires. His tour walks us (literally and figuratively) through not only the fascinating architecture and art of downtown Buenos Aires but also the city's complex history, sociopolitical dynamics, and economic climate. He does not shy away from difficult truths embedded in what makes the city (and country) what it is today and does so in a way that is approachable and respectful. His knowledge of the city is both deep and broad, and his tour condenses and reflects that knowledge by being both thorough and varied in its topics. Rodrigo is a charismatic tour guide, an articulate storyteller, and clearly passionate about introducing visitors to the heart of Buenos Aires. This tour is a must-do as an introduction for anyone who wants to get to know and start to understand this beautiful, complex city.
Rodrigo was one of the best free walking tour guides I've ever had. He covered many topics, from history, culture, architecture, food and current situation. I wasn't bored not even for a second. It was clear he likes what he does. He made our trip to Buenos Aires much more interesting. I would never know such an interesting stories and history about Argentina. Totally recommend him!
We really enjoyed the tour of the neighborhoods and found it very informative.
A phenomenal tour! Rodrigo was very knowledgeable, personable, fun etc. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour with Rodrigo!
