Minho Free Walking Tours owes its name to the region where it operates: Minho, the North West of Portugal. At the moment we have tours available in the cities of Braga and Guimarães and we only work with local guides. In that, we are the only ones who work like this 😊 We love our region and our people!
We are also the first in the city of Braga. This company started in 2016, with 2 History teachers and now we have a cooperative of guides, so we also do personalised tours and tours for travel agencies. We have in our team resident professionals linked to different areas of knowledge, such as History, Urbanism, Heritage and Archaeology.
Jose is the BEST. He is interesting, full of knowledge and fun. It was really hot day and Jose was looking for shade for us. We had time to take pictures and receive really useful information.
Our guide was Jaoa, (1015 hrs English speaking tour, in Braga. He was fantastic with a great personality and could not have been more informative or helpful. The balance between information given and walking was perfect. Thank you.

María es una guía modelo, muy pendiente del grupo, de que estuviéramos cómodos, que entendiésemos todo...fue ameno y divertido. No se perdió en mucha historia y datos, fue más práctica y visitó los lugares más emblemáticos y bonitos de la ciudad. Amamos Braga, gracias a ella.
