I'm a Dutchman with French Culture, local in Paris since 2002, raised in France in a very international context. In short, it seems like I was made to be a tour guide!
I'm an active, passionate and dedicated tour guide since the summer of 2013. I have given thousands of Eiffel Tower tours, almost as many Versailles tours and Paris walking tours. I can happily say that I still enjoy meeting, entertaining and informing anyone who comes to visit my gorgeous City of Light. As a matter of fact, I've never lost my passion and have therefore decided to be an independent tour guide so as to dedicate myself even more to making your visit of Paris an unforgettable one!
I can give tours in English, French and Dutch.
Leider ist der Guru, trotz oder wegen 5 Anmeldungen, einfach nicht erschienen! Auch wenn man krank ist, so seine Nachricht 45 Minuten nach dem geplanten Start, kann man eine bestätigte Buchung absagen!
I highly recommend booking a tour with Maarten! I learned a lot and it was a great atmosphere with the possibility to ask a lot of questions! :) Enjoy!
We were at the spot 10 min prior to 10am, our start time. The guru never showed up. I texted him, he responded 30 min later, stating that he is unable to make it. Would that be nice to give me heads up??? I understand that things happen, but just leave us hanging there is so unprofessional.
No approval and no response from a guide. That’s very disappointing 🥲
