Meet Abdu , a civil engineer who followed an unexpected path to become a tour guide in Egypt. Despite graduating in 2018, his heart was drawn to the rich history and vibrant culture of his homeland. Fuelled by a deep love for Egypt and a curiosity to connect with people from all walks of life, he embarked on a new career journey. Along the way, his passion for photography blossomed, allowing him to capture the beauty of Egypt's landscapes and monuments while sharing its stories with travelers from around the world. Abdu is fantastic! He's not only a great communicator, but he knows his country and culture inside out. He made every bit of information come alive during our tour, even adding juicy details that made the experience unforgettable. Plus, he's a whiz with a camera! Abdu knows all the best spots, angles, and he can direct poses like a pro. Touring with Abdu took our pyramid visit to a whole new level. It was historical immersion with a side of fun. I'd totally recommend him to anyone up for an awesome adventure!
This was the second tour we took with Abdu as our guide, and it was again an outstanding experience! Abdu is really knowledgable and easygoing, he answered all our questions (even those that were unrelated to the site) and was able to walk us through thousands of years of history effortlessly. We really bonded and felt like walking and chatting with a friend. And I should also mention that he took some really amazing photos of our group in all the best spots! Highly recommended!!
Abdu was beyond amazing! Calm within the chaos (we visited during Eid and there were loads of people in the streets), easygoing and really knowledgeable. We felt like we were walking around with a friend, he really made the tour special for us. At the end of the tour he recommended places to eat and get traditional sweets, and he even stayed with us while we waited for our uber. Thank you Abdu!!
