My name is Beka, and I was born in the western part of Georgia.
I have been guiding since 2017.
I love traveling, hiking, reading, swimming, and cooking.
My passion is to meet people and make them fall in love with Georgia.
It was a great hike! Beka is very positive and nice person to talk to. Felt completely safe as a female solo traveler with him. Good workout as well, highly recommend!
I had a great time on the hike with Beka. I was the only one joining the hike that day, but still we had a good time and I learned a lot. Beka is helpful and intelligent and the views on the hike are incredible. I recommend it to everyone because this walking tour is a unique experience and you get to hike up a beautiful mountain. It is different from the other tours with the more touristy highlights. I recommend wearing good shoes and packing light. You should be in shape but it’s not too difficult! I had an amazing walk with Beka! Sunshine, blue sky, great city and mountainsights views and a well deserved Georgian Donut on top of the hill. Beka is a very kind, highly knowledgeable, interesting and open minded fellow, very welcoming. The medium difficult walk was a great opportunity for a perfect escape from the city into Georgia's beautiful nature. The tour stated that I should be good at hiking and I was a little doubtful at first because I do not consider myself to be fit. I do enjoy taking long walks on easy terrains, but nothing ever too vigorous. I was pleasantly surprised because I managed to finish this tour and was rewarded with the most magnificent views of the city. It was also enjoyable because Beka gave a lot of information on the way up and he was extremely thoughtful and considerate, making sure I was ok along the way and doing everything he could to make sure I was feeling comfortable. He also communicated in perfect English and we could chat easily while ascending the terrain. This was an extremely enjoyable activity and a unique one at that because it’s the only one that does not have the usual touristy itinerary. Try it even if you have some doubts about your ability to complete this tour. You will also along the way, get to know the wonderful Beka who epitomises true Georgian hospitality.
