We have done many Guru walks all over the world and this one was among our favourites: Pinar was awesome from the get go! Her unique style, her high energy, and her humour made the tour fun and extremely interesting! The pace was great and her knowledge was extraordinary. As well she knew a fair lot about the countries we all came from! She had clearly done her homework! And she even made us try to answer some very interesting questions about Istanbul - and she gave credit where credit was due! We would recommend Pinar highly for her enthusiastic approach to keeping us all engaged and very well entertained! My husband and I loved this 2 and 1/2 tour!
Jen was fun, knowledgeable and had many unique facts of the wars, the architecture, the heroines and heroes as well as the dictators and opposition. Nice small group which was also more enjoyable than large groups. Thanks Jen! Terry and JoAnne, Vancouver
Matthew loves history and in fact is a history teacher. He gave us both sides of every story as well; and even had a chocolate bar prize three times with interesting questions for whomever could come up with correct answer.
Burak stepped in for this wonderful 2hr walking tour of the Jewish Quarter and added on many interesting stories especially those of the many murals we have walked by. He gave us perspective of Hungary’s history including the wars, politics, and terrific lessons about hope and empathy culminating at the end at the Alice in Wonderland mural and telling stories of motivation whatever that is for each of us. Thank you Burak, JoAnne and Terry Fahr
