Our Kyoto tour today was fantastic, thanks to our wonderful guide, Raj. Her warm and bubbly personality made us feel at ease right away, and since it was just the two of us, she thoughtfully adjusted the pace to suit us, adding rest stops when we needed them after a long, jet-lagged day. Raj’s knowledge was so impressive, especially her detailed explanations of Geisha and Maiko culture and the history of Gion and the shrines we visited. She also kindly took some great photos for us and led us to a breathtaking sunset spot to end the tour. Her honesty, kindness, and insight made the whole experience unforgettable.
