Rather than just visiting famous spots, we value communication with travelers — sharing fun facts and answering all sorts of questions about Japan.
Since we run our tours in small groups, we believe our guests will have a truly enjoyable experience.
We had a superb tour with Ricky in Gion and Higashiyama! We learned about the Geisho en Maiko and about shintoism and buddhism. Even though it was very busy on the streets, he was able to swiftly guide us to the right and less crowded spots. I can only imagine how good of a guide he will be in the future. He had guided less than 10 tours, but he felt more experienced than guides that have done more than 200. Besides, his English was at an advanced level. Would highly recommend this tour!
Ricky was very nice and helpful, he knew quite a lot and even had nice tips for visiting.

Inexperienced guide with superficial knowledge and not very conversant in English. Route was very crowded and made no attempt to mitigate because of his inexperience. Learned more from reading Memoirs of a Geisha. Do not recommend.
