We met Marco on a very wet morning that got wetter as we walked. Marco was an excellent guide who loves history and loves Portugal. We covered a lot of ground, and the pace was comfortable. We found dry places to stop at as the rain came down. Marco was able to tell us about the sites as we waited for the rain to let up. We would highly recommend taking this tour with Marco. He was the best!
This guide is amazing. He is doing his masters or PHD in history. his depth and perspective on all aspects of Portuguese history and culture go far beyond the average script. We could spend a week with him!!! NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
The tour was amazing! We went to so many interesting places and it felt super personalised, not generic at all. Marco’s knowledge is second to none - history, literature, politics - he weaves it all into the tour and answers any questions you have brilliantly! Highly recommend!
