Francisco
I am an Italian-Chilean journalist based in Parma, Italy. I have published a series of culinary books such as Patagonia Gastronomy, Chilean Poetic Cuisine and Valparaíso Gastronomy. Since 2019 I have lived in Parma, a beautiful city where I have developed this free tour that runs through its main attractions, with special emphasis on its rich gastronomic culture.

Francisco enthusiastically conveys his love of Parma and its culinary traditions. His tour includes historic facts about Tuscany and Parma that are related to the cuisine. We returned to several vendors after the tour to shop. A pair of Umarell now reside in Maryland, USA. The highlight for me was tasting horse tartar at the butcher shop. Visit the Cathedral.
