My name is William. I came to Sydney from overseas, and I quickly fell in love with this city — especially its history and unique character. With experience guiding more than 350 travellers from all around the world, I’m excited to show you Sydney.
My goal is simple: I want you to fall in love with Sydney just as much as I did.
This tour is designed for curious travellers — people who want to understand the stories behind the famous sights. Together, we’ll explore the stories that shaped Sydney, from its colonial beginnings to the vibrant harbour city you see today.
If you’d like to experience Sydney through its history — the iconic moments as well as the hidden ones — I’d be delighted to guide you.
This is our first Guru tour and was told by others in our group that they have had some really good tours. William is very young and you can tell his maturity by the way he talks and conducts himself and especially being late for the tour. He needs to raise his voice and speak a bit more fluently. He can prepare a little more. He has potential to be a good tour guide. That all being said, this tour was pretty interesting and allowed us to see many places in Sydney.
William answered all our questions or went out of his way to add details we were interested in.
William moved back the start time by an hour and the showed up fifteen minutes late. He doesn't know the history well enough to express himself in a fluent and interesting manner.
I arrived on time, didn't find anyone, and there was a lot of police activity because of the event that was going to be held at the Opera House. It will have to be another time, as I'm leaving Sydney tomorrow.
