Darrell Rivers is a British-American historian with an incredible breadth of knowledge, particularly around London. He works as a historical advisor for TV & film and a consultant for various historical projects around the world. He specialises in the Napoleonic Wars, Crimean War, and the American Civil War. He is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and a Kentucky Colonel.
Darrell tailored the content at each stop based on our interests since we were American. We visited hidden corners of sites which I wouldn't have otherwise known existed. The pace and topic depth were good. I would definitely take another tour with Darrell.
Darrell is extremely knowledgeable and full of sense of humor. Really enjoyed the tour. Thank you Darrell!
Darrell gave us an amazing tour of the Houses of Parliament and surroundings. Even though it rained upon us just a little, we haven't even noticed. The information and the way Darrell presented it was fun, entertaining, educational. He is one of those rare guides, that has more than enough knowledge and passionate at what he does and it shined thorough the walk we had. Thank you!
The visit with Darrell was very pleasant. We got to see the essentials of London and his stories were great. Would recommend!! Ps: Loved the anecdote about the German dog 😉
