An enjoyable insight into Bulgarian life as experienced during its political changes. This is NOT a heavy history lesson. It is a fun discussion about its politicians, playwrites, students and every ordinary person as they lived their lives through the political backdrop that resulted eventually in Bulgarian entry to the European Union. Our guide Ivo was knowledgeable, humorous and his English is near flawless. We covered everything from monuments to buildings to cars to escalators. Strongly recommended.
