Mohammed was very engaging and informative. He has a wealth of knowledge and was a lot of fun to be with. Highly recommended.
It was an absolute disaster. Sheldon didn't show up! We were supposed to meet at 2.30pm. My husband and I waited patiently at the designated meeting point until 3pm. We wasted 300ZAR on taxi fares plus the afternoon. We have used Guruwalks in many countries and have been very happy with the experience. Our advice is to avoid any Guruwalk in Cape Town where Sheldon is the guide. Extremely disappointed.
As a matter of fact, the tour should be the Hanoi Old Quarter: From Past to Present. But since we told Nhat the our morning tour (which was supposed to be the French Quarter) was a bit of a mishap. Nhat graciously offered us to take us to the French Quarter instead and even showed us the hidden coffee shop that otherwise we would not have found it ourselves. Thanks monumentally Nhat!
Sang never showed up. Instead there was a guide by name of Nath who took us to Hanoi Old Quarter. Then at 09.28 we received a WA message from Minh Anh ( we assumed who replaced Sang) who informed us that his/her motorbike broke down and will be at the meeting point 10 minutes later. Any way, the tour with Nath was a good one, we enjoyed it.
