Visit to Vedado, the new part of Havana

During our time in Havana, we did 4 separate walking tours. We booked a tour of the Vedado area with Heikel. Heikel was the very best guide. He told us the history of the Vedado area as well as shared stories of his family's struggles during the Special Period. Heikel's English is very good. If I ever go back to Havana, I will book Heikel for whatever tours I can. Thanks so much Heikel.

Free heritage walking tour

Victor did not show up for our tour. He did notify us the previous evening but due to the internet in Cuba, we did not receive the message until after we went to meet Victor at the arranged meeting location. Other tour guides advised that Victor does not always show up. Disappointed.

This person knows that the Internet in Cuba is not good at all. He booked with no much time.I ran to explain and sent him a message BEFORE the tour explaning him a personal situation because I have a Family who take care of, a baby that is constantly sick. I'm the only Tour Guide in my Tour. This person waited to stay back in his country to make that review. Is very unfair make judgement before to read the reasons that someone explained.
