We are very big foodie people.. An automatic message is sent to us and requesting a message back to confirm the booking. We messaged "we're looking forward to walking and eating with you". We didn't receive a reply and proceed with our day. Later in the afternoon we arrived at the meeting point and couldn't locate our guide. We sent 3 messages and nothing. We decided to leave the meeting point 20 minutes after the start time and stumbled upon our own foodie locations.
I’ve had positive experiences in the past with guru walk but that was very disappointing! The tour was confirmed to start at 5pm, I texted the WhatsApp number at 9am same day with no reply until 4.28pm when a number from Egypt texted me informing that tour was €50 per person if two or more people join or €100 otherwise. I was rushing so I didn’t see the message from “Egypt” until I found the meeting point. Texted the tour guide to find out it was cancelled at 5pm ish! Not good!
