Michael's uncle (who is still alive today) was the neighbour of Nelson Mandela when he spent nearly 7 years in the jail cell right next door to him, between 1972 and 1979, as a political prisoner on Robben Island.

Sehr informative tour über die Geschichte Südafrikas. Sie wurde uns sehr anschaulich und ausführlich näher gebracht. Leider konnten wir nicht bis zum Ende bleiben, da die Tour länger als angegeben dauerte.

Michael is extremely knowledgeable about the history of his city and shared stories that truly brought Bo-Kaap to life. Without his insights, it might just seem like a collection of colorful houses, but with Michael, the area really speaks to you.
