This was a great tour and a wonderful introduction to the older part of the Cape Town City Centre. Even though we are locals, we learnt so much on the tour and really enjoyed walking through the busy streets. Michael was punctual, entertaining and knowledgeable and we quickly built a rapport with him. We really enjoyed the tour. Thanks Michael!

The tour was our first free walking that was totally disappointing. Michael was uninspired and not very friendly. The information he gave was so far so good, but it was very unprofessional to show his political position behind some information. Last but not least he wanted us to pay 15 € for less than the promised 75 minutes. I NEVER was forced to pay a certain price for a FREE walking tour and I always give 10 to 20 € depending on the guide and the duration of the tour. Fortunately we had another free walking tour after this one in Capetown and it was outstanding like normally.

We were on time at the agreed meeting point and the guides did not come and did not inform us

It's a good tour. I appreciated that Michael always welcomed questions and was willing to stop longer as needed, but, for the most part, kept things moving. The sights are truly interesting. I do not believe quite a few of the superlatives-- first this or first that in Africa or sub-Saharan Africa-- however, as I've spent a great deal of my life in Africa and some of the claims made about Cape Town seem quite unlikely. Still, I fully recommend the tour.
