Sie empfehlen uns auch wärmstens weiter. Tatsächlich sind wir der erste GuruWalk-Anbieter im südlichen Afrika, der über 100, 200 und dann 300 Bewertungen mit überwiegend 5 🌟 Bewertungen erhalten hat. Zu Ihrer Bequemlichkeit haben wir die meisten geplanten Touren pro Woche. Mein Name ist Michael und ich bin ein professioneller registrierter regionaler und provinzieller Kulturführer (WC12125) sowie ein registrierter nationaler Übernachtungsführer für Bergabenteuer und Trekking abseits der Pfade. Ich bin in Kapstadt geboren und mit Bridget verheiratet. Sie ist ebenfalls eine professionelle registrierte Kulturführerin (WC12124). Zusammen haben wir in ganz Südafrika und vielen anderen Ländern auf der ganzen Welt gearbeitet und sind durch sie gereist. Wir sind außerdem Mitglieder der Cape Tourist Guide's Association. Mein Onkel (der heute noch lebt) war der Nachbar von Nelson Mandela, als dieser als politischer Gefangener auf Robben Island fast 7 Jahre in der Gefängniszelle gleich neben Madiba verbrachte. Before the tour even started he said “all other tours I do are prepaid and I expect a minimum of 10 euros a person for this hour long tour” which set a bad/negative tone for the whole tour

Please allow me to correct you in what you have written Jonah. Maybe you or your group did not understand what was being said. -1- I began the tour by giving your group a bit of background about how we work. (we do this before all our tours) -2- Among other things, I told your group that we do sightseeing tours, hiking tours, adventure tours as well as walking tours. -3- I went on to say that all our tours are prepaid, except on the GuruWalk platform. -4- I also mentioned that the GruruWalk platform is the only case where we receive our income via tips which the guests offer afterwards. -5- I also pointed out that according to the GuruWalk recommendation (as stated by GuruWalk themselves, on the GuruWalk platform), the tip range from 10 Euros per person per tour upwards according to what the guests feel is appropriate. -6- One of your group members indicated that she had a problem with her foot, and that she had just recently stopped using her crutches after having to rely on them for about a year. -7- I offered her a bench to sit on while I did the talk which detailed the historical background of the Bo-Kaap. She refused. -8- It is important for us to impart the correct information to the guests, especially since you told me some false information that you read (according to you) on Wikipedia. -9- The guest who had the foot injury, twice during the tour, complained about the fact that she could not walk. -10- Based on this, I offered to shorten the tour for her convenience. This was accepted by the group. -1- At the end of the tour, I did ask your group, like I always do during the tour as well, if you had any questions. -12- You offered me a payment that is inline with what is recommended by the GuruWalk platform, and making no mention of what you have written above. -14- We therefore disagree with your review. -15- Please enjoy the rest of your holiday and safe travels back to the US.

Great experience and a good jump start to learning more about Cape Town. Lots of information provided and good recommendations provided. Very professional and accommodating.

Michael is very knowledgeable on the history and is very up to date with current affairs, especially that concerning the people & history, which is nice as we can see the development of the society from two centuries ago to now

Our guide was amazing. She was really kindness and she gave us a lot of information that was really interesting. At the end we was drinking a coffe in a special places and it was a very special moment for me.

Would highly recommend this tour. A great way to see the beautiful buildings of the city centre and learn about the history. Bridgette was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
