Born and raised in Fez, I have been a local guide for a while. I speak Italian and English and Spanish and French I can guide in 4 languages , I have led visits from 1 to 12 people. I have lived in Fez enough to know all the tips when it comes to many things and I really like to share these tips with my guests. ( THiS TOUR IT WALKING LIKE LOCALS AND HIDDENS ALLEYS ) (this tour it not incloding history explanations ) BUT (cultural explanations)
Mohammad was a very kind and funny older gentleman with a ton of energy. Took us around different cool places that we couldn’t of gotten on our own that’s for sure . His English or Spanish isn’t the best . There’s no history in this tour walk but we were already warned before . Besides this i would recommend this tour if you want to see a bit more than just the average places , he will take you too cool small alley ways and nice cheaper shops and places off touristic paths . We enjoyed our little tour , just wished he would have know his English or Spanish isn’t as told . Thank you Mohammad :)
Not recommendable at all. Mohamed told us that he was able to do the tour in English, Spanish and Italian. He is not able to lead the tour on any of these languages. He knows only few words on each language. He was not giving almost any info about Fez, the places or history and the few explanations were mixed between Spanish and English. We visited the interesting places of the Medina but without any explanation. The same could be done with a Lonely planet. At the end, and due to the low quality of the tour, we decided to pay him 100 MAD (we were 2 on a group of 4), and he asked us for another 100 MAD in a not polite way. We paid those extra 100 Mad ... but i won´t recommend this tour to anyone.
