Hi, I'm the guy that'll show you the fun things that there are to do in Toulouse and will share with you the dramatic events that have occurred (not just the dry boring history.) I am a writer, researcher, barman, quizmaster and history fanatic.
Over 20 years ago I moved from Edinburgh to Toulouse. That's from Rain and Whisky to Sun and Swimming Pools. And no, as much as I miss my people I've never, ever regretted the decision. I love this place, I love how alive it is and always has been. And if you let me show it to you, you will too.
I loved Harry‘s tour he was entertaining from the moment we started. It is true. It’s a long haul but it’s a fascinating deep dive into some of the stories that you won’t hear on other tours. He goes beneath the skin of the story of the city and introduces you to some of the best and worst characters from the city’s past. I learned so much and would love to sit down for a chat with Harry and hear more of his stories. I’m sure I would not get a word in edgeways but I would have a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. One note of caution dress for the weather you’re outside all the time and although that’s obvious from it being a walking tour you should know that you will need protection from whatever weather is going on that day. Harry's knowledge ofToulouse was unparalleled - he shared so many stories with us from his own personal research which we wouldn't find anywhere else. Overall Harry and his tour were incredibly entertaining and it was the highlight of our trip to Toulouse. I would recommend his tour to anyone visiting Toulouse (albeit presuming they liked history!)
