Daniela is an extremely skilled and personable guide, and clearly has an encyclopaedic understanding of the history, architecture, life stories and restoration process of Bucharest's iconic buildings and forgotten mansions alike. She's evidently done a great deal of personal and on-the-ground research in order to put this tour together, and it's as much a labour of love as it is a glimpse under the skin of this complicated city.
