We went to meeting point. Guru Tal did not show up.
Tal’s tour was excellent! He’s very knowledgeable about the local artists and gave us a great view of Madrid’s street art scene. He’s also a nice person who had patience to take our questions and provide all information as we were going the through the tour. If you’re interested in street, I’d strongly encourage you to take the tour with Tal.
Tal was an excellent guide. His breath and depth of knowledge was superb. The pace of the tour was very good and his passionate interpretation of the individual depictions were favorably appreciated. He was familiar with the individual artists from muralist to individual tagging. A very enjoyable experience
Tal was a bit shy but very knowledgeable guide with love for graffiti & street art culture. We strolled through Lavapiés & La Latina neighborhoods, he showed us plenty of pieces and we discussed the messages behind certain artworks and social engagement of artists. It was less technical tour but more about street art & graffiti history in the city and current happenings on the scene, about creativity and passion of some of the artists, the messages that art carries, coexistence of communities and rebellion against the degradation of the quality of life. Unique and interesting tour, highly recommended!
