I love to travel, meet new people, and learn about others’ cultures and traditions. As a city planner for multiple decades in my home city of Somerville (adjacent to Boston & Cambridge, MA) I especially appreciate visiting different cities. Also enjoy an active lifestyle, staying fit, and seeing how cool, older buildings can be preserved or adaptively converted to valued new uses.

Still looking forward to the same tour on Friday, but the leader cancelled the Tuesday walk due to a family emergency.

Pleasantly surprised by this tour as learned a lot and enjoyed the mix of info about the history, architecture and important figures of its past, as well as the accompanying social commentary. Audrey clearly knows her material, presents in a very entertaining and animated way, and is one of the best guides I've encountered over many years of both leading and taking them in many different cities, both in the U.S. and abroad! Loved her route, including a brief ride on the above st. rail, plus the great walking weather!

Audrey is an excellent tour leader whose very articulate, easy to hear despite lots of background traffic, and presents great content, offering a mix of history, current events & personal insights. Last hour of tour occurred after sunset but helpful to see Miami in different light, after dark! Appreciated taking brief ride on People Mover/free circular train as introduction to another form of transport offered by the municipality. Highly recommend this tour!

Wynwood Street Art and History Tour

An informative walk around a concentrated area with tons of colorful murals and expressive graffiti that the tour leader expanded upon to give greater context. Was a very small group of only 4 which allowed for lots of interactive commentary. Alberto was knowledgeable about the changing history of the area & clearly conveyed his enthusiasm for the numerous artists and their stories. Fully recommend tour & leader!

Quite interesting walk that provided a lot of Cuban history, and demographic statistics about various immigrant groups coming to the U.S. interspersed with personal details related to tour leader’s family background who are Cuban. Alberto was very personable, open to questions and entertaining. Enjoyed the route, with several opportunities to sit, interact with local businesses directly and sample relevant food. Definitely recommend the tour!
