Hello! My name is Yoko. I'm an official guide in Tokyo. I know my city very well as I've lived here for almost all my life. I know all about our history and culture and I'll be happy to share all with you so you'll take with you a memorable experience from Tokyo, one of the most vibrant cities in Japan.
I think this is a very good tour and it covered the topic of new cultures & old traditions in Yanaka very well. We liked how Yoko gave us an idea of how a community functions in Japan and there were plenty of places of interest on the tour, including shops and food. This tour very much would suit people who might want to see a different side of Tokyo, beyond the obvious tourist attractions. We both liked the pace of the tour, with it being a Sunday when we joined, it was a relaxing tour to be on. We also ended up spending more time in Yanaka following the tour as we enjoyed it so much. We did a number of free walking tours in Tokyo and we think this was actually the best for us. Yoko speaks English very well and this also made understanding what being said easy. This is part of Tokyo we would think of returning to, if we ever visited again, to visit some of the buildings of interest pointed out to us and unwind. Thank you for the tour Yoko.
