Hello travelers! My name is Ester, I'm local from Kosice and I'm qualified, certificated tour guide from the beautiful city called Kosice. I'm here to show you the town thru my eyes and I will do my maximum to make you fall in love with this amazing city just as much as I love it. Amazing from start to finish, couldn't fault Ester at all even putting personal touches to the tour with recommendations of what to do and where to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk, 2.5 hours flew by and didn't feel that long.
Ester was very jolly and full of life. We only booked this tour as it was the only one available during our stay and we were the only family on the tour. We were more interested in the modern history so she accommodated us and gave us a bespoke tour so I can’t really comment on the actual tour however Ester’s enthusiasm was excellent.
Ester provided a fantastic tour and introduction to Kosice. We had a big group and she handled it very well, answering all questions and interacting individually with the attendees. I loved listening to her stories and got a lot out of the tour, with a wide range of information from history to food and wine. Highly recommended!
Ester is a nice and fun person, but the whole tour it felt for me like she was in a rush for something else. She talked very fast, which made it at some point harder to follow her. Also I really missed some illustrative material like pictures of the city during socialism or even when they still used the rail tracks in the old town (which is something very unique to the city and therefore worth to point it out). I assume since there are no other tour guides in Košice the motivation to improve herself as a tour guide is not so high. Netherless I hope she will do so in the future to make it a even better experience. Good luck
An excellent tour from start to end our guide was both informative and entertaining the entire way around despite the incredible heat today which left all of us struggling at times. She also let us know that she was in fact the number one guide in the city and the only guide in the city :D Lovely lady, great tour, highly recommend.
