I'm a singer/songwriter who was born in Liverpool and started out as a musical Liverpool tour guide about 4 years ago. I always had a passion for the Merseybeat era and the Liverpool city itself with it's very colourful history. So it was a simple choice for me to become a tour guide for my city. I try to encapsulate some of my passion in every tour and accompany it with a little tune or three on each of my trips too. Jimmy was very entertaining and enthusiastic and even performed 2 songs while playing his ukulele. His impersonations of the Beatles added to the story he shared of their history. He had interesting information to share of the Pier Head area.
Incredible tour but went almost 3.5 hours instead of 2.5. Jimmy was tremendously knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Highly recommend!
It was spectacular, Jimmy is very friendly and funny. The guided tour was excellent, he explained about the Beatles and other things about Liverpool and he has a ukulele and played some songs which differs from other typical free tours.
