WOW! Excellent tour with Francesco. I have taken several tours throughout Europe, paid and free, and this tour was one of the best. Francesco walked us around the Old Wall of Florence and explained the history and significance all while making the tour fun. This is my 4th trip to Italy and my first time in this area and Oltrarno district. So much to see and learn. We enjoyed a cup of wine while we walked and learned more history near the Roman gate of the city. Francesco then took us to an amazing local restaurant for lunch. The food was incredible. I now understand why so much good is said about the Oltrarno district. The tour involved about 4-5 miles of walking and some very steep hills. Be prepared! But the views at the top and photo ops are worth it. My family totally loved this tour and we couldn’t stop talking about our time with Francesco all day. Thank you for a wonderful time! If you are debating about this tour, don’t waste any more book Francesco now.
