Hello there! My name is Aarre Safari and I am a Detroit born, Amsterdam resident of over 17 years with a recently finished Masters degree in Dutch History.
My love for Dutch-land has long been established due to the high quality of life and the absolute breathtaking inner-city of Amsterdam. My personal interests include both teaching and learning about the Golden Age: the approximate 100 years in which the Dutch dominated global-trade. Additionally, I love introducing friends & guests to the surprising culture of local pubs and 17th century style cafes hidden around the old center.
