Joao was great at making lemonade out of lemons! It was pouring rain and windy for most of our tour. We were the only guests who showed up and Joao gave us a great tour despite the awful weather conditions. We learned a lot about the history and culture of the city.

Thank you for the review. I just want to remind you that the visit took place in abnormal conditions, with rain, and that a lot of information was left out because the rain prevented it. Some places were removed from the tour because we would have had to climb more sidewalks, which would have been very dangerous, and others because you decided to end the tour earlier. I thought I had been clear about this. If I had known we were going to encounter this storm, I would not have done the tour... especially since I did the tour while sick! As for the shops, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. I only mentioned a few that sell typical products from Coimbra and Portugal, taking the opportunity to show off the best we have to offer! It's part of my job! If we don't talk about that too, if I don't help the locals, then I am a bad guide.

Excellent knowledge of the history and geography of Aveiro. Wry sense of humor. Good recommendations. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour. Great history and fun cultural facts and stories. It was very crowded and a large group so the personal headphones were quite helpful in hearing everything and keeping the group together. He took us to a fabulous and reasonably priced restaurant after the tour. A hidden gem that we never would have found otherwise.
