Passionate about history and art, I’ll take you through Montmartre’s hidden streets to reveal its secrets: from legendary cabarets to the studios of Picasso and Degas, including its revolts and forgotten legends. My tours combine engaging stories, historical accuracy, and a friendly atmosphere.
From my experiences, there are guides that excel with the entertainment aspect in these types of tours, and there others who are less theatrical/entertaining but who have a knowledge and intelligence about the place (whatever place it might be). And I can say with certainty that Léo was the rarest type of guides that can balance the entertainment and true knowledge in a way that most cannot. If I could leave more than a “5 star” review I would, but I can’t, so I’ll say this: If you want a walking tour with someone who really knows Montmartre and can present this in a way that expertly toes the line between true intelligence and entertainment, then this is the person. I’m actually kind of shocked that no one has written reviews of his tours.
