Debbie is the best ! She provided an excellent itinerary through the city of Palermo hitting all the highlights. By engaging the group participants by asking questions and then rewarding responses with "points", Debbie introduced a sense of group cohesiveness with a nice masure of levity. I highly recommend the walking tour group she (so well) represents but particularly Debbie as a tour guide ! Thank you !
Marco took our group to areas of Palermo we would probably never visit. We have been here for five days and seen alot of the major parts of the city but Marco took us though areas off the beaten path which was delightful ~ I highly recommend Marco as the quintessential walking tour guide !
Sarah did an amazing job of providing interesting and comprehensive information about her home city of Naples. In spite of the marathon event and large weekend crowds, she was calm and able to project her voice effectively. We found the tour quite enjoyable. Thank you, Sarah !
Eerdam focused on a few locations around Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and uncovered multiple layers of information with a respect for his subject matter yet in a fun manner with "a twinkle in his eye". He delighted us with many stories which brought the historical characters to life ~ an enjoyable time was had by all !
Kasra brought his study of history, his passion for Istanbul, his professionalism and especially his kindness to this amazing guided tour. He presented information not available on other platforms and interlaced the stories of the characters in this time of history. As well, he treated his guests to Turkish coffee in a lovely café adjacent to a city wall which was over 1500 years of age. It was time well committed to our new love of Istanbul thanks to Kasra !
