I use guru walks in many cities I visit. It is a great way to become introduced to a new city. The guides have always been very informative. Tati was our guide in Cozumel. There was less history explained and more of the current flavor of the city introduced with great recommendations for places to go. We took Tati’s recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Take the tours. They are usually free but require a tip to the guide.

Elaine and Danielle were wonderful guides. They departed knowledge that was useful in understanding the history and culture of the area and the country.
I’m sorry I forget his name but he was one of the best guides we’ve encountered in Mexico City.
