I joined a tour with Hermine in Bruges and it was a unique experience. Instead of focusing only on dates and buildings, she shared stories and legends connected to different places in the city, which made everything much more memorable – usually I forget historical facts after a week, but her stories will definitely stay with me. The route was also off the beaten path, away from the super touristy areas, and we got to see some truly beautiful spots. On top of that, even though it was a free tour and other participants had to cancel, she still ran the tour just for the two of us. Highly recommended!
