I had an amazing experience on the free walking tour of Süleymaniye and the Grand Bazaar. Our guide, Mustafa, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history and culture of Istanbul. Mustafa explained the history of the Süleymaniye area in a very engaging way and shared many interesting stories that you wouldn’t learn from a guidebook. Walking through the Grand Bazaar with him was also a highlight—he helped us understand the traditions of the market and gave great tips while keeping the tour fun and relaxed. What I appreciated most was how approachable and enthusiastic he was. He answered all our questions with patience and made sure everyone in the group felt included. You can tell he truly loves what he does. If you’re visiting Istanbul and want to learn about the city’s history while exploring beautiful places like Süleymaniye and the Grand Bazaar, I highly recommend joining a tour with Mustafa. It was one of the best experiences of my trip!
Such a tasty tour:) feeling like part local, part tourist. Ottoman traditional beverage was nice. Seeing and getting the details of Column of Constantine was fascinating.
