In more than five years of running this tour and after hundreds of visits with travelers from different countries, this is the first time someone has interpreted the artisan workshops and traditional local businesses as a purchase obligation. These places are part of Tetouan’s culture, identity, and daily life, and including them in the tour helps visitors better understand local traditions and customs. At no point is there any obligation to buy anything. We also do not agree with the claim that the guide showed dissatisfaction because no purchase was made. Hamid always maintains the same professional, friendly, and respectful attitude toward all visitors, regardless of their decisions. In fact, the many reviews published on this platform consistently reflect those values. Likewise, it is difficult to understand the statement that the tour lacked content when it lasted three hours and included explanations about the history, culture, traditions, and daily life of Tetouan. It is possible that your expectations were geared toward a more academic or specialized experience, which differs from the free tour concept that we offer. We respect all opinions, but we also believe it is important that future travelers can form their own opinion based on the facts and on the many experiences shared by other visitors over the years.
