Everyone is welcome to join free walking tour see you in Kathmandu, thank you !
He did not show up.
The guide is is not history guide but its a mountain trackking guide. So from all the free walking tour i have been in 5 year this one is the most Unknowlege for the tour.
Frankly, I felt like I wasted an afternoon by talking this tour. Suresh either didn't know much about the city or he wasn't keen to share it- always just walking past interesting places. When asked questions about different temples and religious relics around the city, he always mumbled something which amounted to "this is how it has always been". His webpage states that he has an MA in English literature. But his fluency and incoherent accent mars this. I'm sure he is a great guide up in the mountains. He's just not a good one in Kathmandu city.
Suresh seemed more interested in selling other tours to us rather than the tour we were on. Helpful information was limited although he was friendly.
