Hi, I'm Thu, which means "autumn" in Vietnamese. My mother was "lazy" after giving birth me so she chose the name of season that I was born to me. I am so appreciated my mom because Autumn is the most beautiful season of the year in Hanoi with yellow of sunny, green of "Cốm", smell of street food and love of couples 😊. I have called Hanoi my home for over thirty years, and my love for this city runs deep, from its bustling streets to its hidden gems. I am passionate about sharing the true essence of Hanoi's culture, offering a unique perspective that comes from my deep connection with this place. I look forward to helping you discover the vibrant spirit and timeless charm of this beautiful city 🥰. Don’t just visit Hanoi—experience it in all its depth and wonder.
Thu was an awesome guide! I recommend her, she was nice and had a lot of stories to share! She made us feel very confortable 🫶🏻
As someone who likes history and the story of Vietnam this was by far the best tour I’ve ever been on. Nam (the guide) was so knowledgeable had loads of interesting stories and anecdotes whilst also telling the whole story of Vietnam from when the French invaded and a little from when the Chinese where here also. It turned out to be just me and the guide so we hoped on his moped and had a guided tour. Truly incredible and I really appreciate his time and information. 100% would recommend this tour.
Thu is an amazing guide! She was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Hanoi’s history. I loved how she brought the French Quarter and Hoa Lo Prison to life with powerful stories and small historical details that you’d easily miss on your own. One of the highlights was enjoying Vietnamese coffee in a hidden café — it felt like a truly local experience. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go beyond the typical tourist spots and really connect with Hanoi’s past and charm.
Lisa is a wonderful tour guide. She is lovely, knowledgeable, and funny, which made us feel truly happy and comfortable. The journey to explore Hanoi was also amazing. With Lisa, we learned a lot about the history and culture of Vietnam. The experience at Hoa Lo Prison was especially impressive. Thank you, Lisa.
The tour was very informative and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Thu was incredibly warm and friendly, we saw some beautiful architecture and her guided tour of the prison was both fascinating and harrowing. Because we were a small group we stopped at a very cool hidden cafe for a coffee and she gave us excellent tips for food - best banh xeo and cha ca ever. And even booked our spa treatments! Highly recommend!!!
