Essential Free walking tours of Hue

I'm upset I can't remember the name of our guide cuz he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable on the city and on the past history of Vietnam and the old city. I should have wrote this sooner so I would have remembered more but it was a fun tour and we had to fun time. Lot of laughs and a lot of information.

Linh was the best, he spoke great english, had an amazing energy, and kept us entertained the whole tour.

The tour was great! Linh showed us around the main locations and gave a lot of inside to the most important artifacts. The citadel is huge so we covered the most interesting locations. Afterwards, he gave us tips what to still explore within the citadel and a recommendation for great Hue local food.

High quality walking tour provided here. Guide was a young intelligent local who gave really good insights (and rebuttals) to some typical (naive) questions from visitors. Join this tour for a good educational and mind opening experience. ☺️

Thanh was an excellent guide and the tour was very interesting. We started with change of guards which was very cool to watch. The route was very good and Thanh was very knowledgeable. It was a lot of fascinating history presented in an interesting way. We highly recommend this tour.

Linh is super knowledgeable and made the tour fun and exciting! As the Imperial City is a huge area, it’s almost impossible to know where to go without a guide. Linh did a fantastic job of explaining the highlights and showing us the key parts with the right amount of culture, history and stories. Thanks Linh for a fantastic tour!

This was a great way to explore the big imperial city! 3 hours seemed too long before we started, But our host was very entertaining (and looked for chill places Durlinger this hot day) which made it a great afternoon in Hue!

Really informative tour. Linh started it with a 5 min whistle-stop history tour of Vietnam to help the group orientate themselves to everything they were about to see. That made asking questions much easier, which he was more than happy to answer. He's also quite a funny guy, so the tour was quite fun and interesting. I'd recommend it!

Vietnam was very kind to me. The whole trip. There were many highlights but the evening I spent with Chau/Sun ranks in top 3 for me. It felt like I was walking around in a new country, a new place with an old friend. Sun arrived right on time for the walk and took me to places where she would also go with her friends. We shared food while she explained to me about the food, the history and the relevance of the place and food. she was kind and patient while she helped me with learning the correct pronunciations of places, things, and food. There were places that she wanted me to try and took me there but the walk was also about just being able to wander into spaces like a library, shooting balloons and trying food that I thought piqued my interest. Sun is a great guide and I can definitely now say I have a friend in Vietnam because it was nothing less than that. Highly recommend going on a walk with her when you're in Hue, Vietnam.
