Essential Free walking tours of Hue

I joined the tour while staying in Hue. At first, it was difficult to spot the guide until she approached me. She asked a lot of questions, and at times it felt like she wasn’t pleased with some of my answers, which made the experience less enjoyable. She also commented that my previous Guru tours weren’t good if I didn’t know certain things. It’s worth remembering that some people have invisible disabilities, which can make it harder to retain information. Overall, I still had a good time, and she took us to some really interesting places around the city.

Vy showed us the Imperial city in Hue with a great level of knowledge, expertise and dedication. She shared local history and general facts about the palaces, Hue and Vietnam in a friendly and entertaining way. Would definitely join again! Thanks a lot :)

Solid tour, especially the philosophy of the place is interesting and fascinatingly told -but it’s so vast you need more than the tour to truly understand need our grasp this epic place. Bring enough water with you!

The tour was engaging and intresting, where you learn unique facts about the city. There was enough time to explore the highlights and you have the freedom at the end to look around more once the tour ends. I would recommend this tour as a good way to learn about the history

Vy was a wonderful guide. She provided lots of information, and encouraged discussion by asking the group questions, and openly answering our questions to her . She was warm and professional, and kept good humor about interruptions (like the deafening cicadas that started up, and moving us to a place where we could hear 😀). The format is a nice mix of providing information, letting us explore, and meeting back together to discuss. I highly recommend a tour with Vy.

Wir hatten nun schon viele Guides hier in Vietnam, aber mit Ly haben wir wieder viel Neues gelernt. Die Kommunikation funktionierte gut. Einige wenige male mussten wir nachfragen, das war aber gar kein Problem. (Keiner von den 4 Gästen in unserer Gruppe war muttersprachlich in Englisch). Ly konnte uns viele Interessante Informationen beibringen und die Tour war keine Sekunde langweilig. Wir hatten genug Zeit, alle wichtigen Punkte zu besichtigen und wurden nicht gehetzt. I had a wonderful time on this tour in and around the Imperial City. Our guide was sweet, funny and informative and gave us lots of time to explore alone. She also knew so much information about each site. We didnt visit every part of the city but covered quite alot of it!

I really rated this tour! I really appreciated that Du would take the time to answer all of our questions, but also look after us and make sure she found us spots in the shade etc. we got heaps of interesting information, I would highly recommend it!
