Free tours Quartiere Cinese a Bangkok

Pete is a really knowledgeable and professional guide and I learned new things about Chinatown and Bangkok. Loved trying some local market snacks. Thank you!

Pete is a lovely, communicative, knowledgeable man, and a very nice person. That's everything you need for a good tour. He was sharing knowledge of the local history, recent and older social processes and changes, cultural insights, and recommendations according the people's interest (market, food, art etc). He runs another great tour in the old city (no overlap, I recommend it too), and for me this tour in Chinatown was even better.

Pete is an Amazing tour guide. His command of english is unmatched, and his knowledge of Bangkok history is top notch. I appreciated how the tour felt like a conversation, as he was able to answer all of my questions. Pete knows all the hidden gems of Chinatown and will watch out for you amongst all the bikes! Best tour guide, can’t recommend enough.

Honestly, it was a wonderful experience. The guide was very friendly and communicative, and he explained everything in great detail. He also made sure to answer absolutely all of my questions and gave me several recommendations. He even sent me the names of some restaurants I had asked him about. I honestly think the experience was unbeatable.

Pete knew all the ins and outs of China Town and took us to places we never would have found on our own. Additionally, Pete had stories / history about most of the buildings and people who resided in them in the past.

Pete provided an excellent tour with a great balance of history, interesting facts about sites and people in the neighborhood, and some delicious samples of unique flavours from street stalls. I was impressed with the variety of places we saw within a relatively short distance. Pete is very knowledgeable and has clearly researched well - and the fact that his family heritage is from the neighborhood makes him a particularly fitting guide. Thank you for a very interesting walk Pete!

Pete is absolutely wonderful!! He was very knowledgeable and informative and showed us a lot of places I wouldn’t have seen on my own. He said he was working on improving the tour and even bought everyone in our group Chinese pastries and lotus tea to try. I could not recommend him more!! It is a long tour though so bring water!
