If you like hearing the stories of history like I do, this is a great tour for you. André did a great job explaining all the layers of Evora's history as we walked through the city. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging. He was very patient with all my questions and I appreciated that on the rare occasion when he didn't know the answer he admitted it. Highly recommended!

Elza’s English communication was first class. She is a local with a very good understanding of what we wanted/needed to see. Elsa is a very nice person and easy to talk to. She was able to point us in the right direction for things to see, restaurants etc after our tour. It was a wonderful 2 hours & we feel we have covered the essential Evora. On we go to our next GuruWalk guide.

Pedro had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of Evora. He brought the pre-Roman., The Roman., And the medieval history of the town to life. He took us on a wonderful tour that circled the city and showed us all of the Roman and medieval sites. There was no question he couldn’t answer. I cannot recommend him enough. He was absolutely marvelous.

Andre knows the history of Evora and explains it in an easy to understand manner. You will visit places off the main track and leave the tour will a much informed view of the history of Evora. Our tour ran a little long as there were 6 of us and some slow walkers (the route is a about 4km) so bring water and some snacks if you think you might get hungry.
