Raffaele was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and very professional. He took us through parts of the historic center of town as well as some of the nature areas. We enjoyed traditional Sintra pastries, and he showed us many beautiful views. One of the places I really wanted to visit was Quinta da Regaleiraz. As we knew when we booked with Guru, the walking tour did not include admission, and Raffaele gave a thorough description of the estate, castle, gardens, and the Initiation Well. Luckily we were able to visit after the walking tour. At the time there were no lines. Another place he told us about that I hadn’t heard of was Biester, an estate with beautiful gardens and a haunted looking mansion where the movie “The Ninth Gate” was filmed. After Raffaele shared that bit of information, I was inspired to visit. It was a fun unplanned activity that added to my overall positive experience of Sintra.

Diana nos dio un tour excelente. No solo fue súper informativo (aprendí mucho sobre la historia de Portugal, por ejemplo, sobre la dictadura y cómo dejó su huella en la arquitectura, las costumbres de la ciudad y la vida estudiantil, ...), sino también muy divertido y hecho con mucho entusiasmo. ¡Sin duda, una de las mejores visitas guiadas en las que he participado!
