Sono nato e cresciuto a Kibera, sono ben informato sulla mia zona e spero di attirare visitatori e mostrare loro i luoghi e le cose magici della nostra comunità. Ho lavorato come guida turistica volontaria per un po 'di tempo a parte solo durante il tour posso anche portare i miei visitatori con semplici giochi divertenti e rendere il tour piacevole
It was an experience of a lifetime. Daniel was very welcoming and gave a lot of information as well as answered all my questions. At first the environment feels not safe, but trust me people are very friendly and welcoming, specially with a local with you. Children want to talk to you and shake hands. Definitely a “Go” place!
It was very impressing. Good guide. Lots of information. Very friendly. And the money of the tour goes to a very good social project for the childeren in the community.
I was in Nairobi on Saba Saba (7/7) Day so security was of top of mind with protests throughout the city. I was very happy that I continued with this tour. I would never have felt comfortable walking through Kibera on my own, but Elijah led me around Kibera so I could fully understand what life is like there. I think if you are visiting Nairobi, seeing how people live is very important and this is one of the only ways to do so.
