Excellent tour!
You have to do this tour when visiting Yogyakarta! Suryawan had perfect English and gave a comprehensive tour on the old Islamic kingdom that ruled and showed us the old mosque, graveyard and market that surrounded the area. He even recommended some amazing treats from the market that we wouldn’t have known to try before! Learned so much about the history and culture and he had very good jokes too!
Suryawan was very informed and he spoke clear. Good English. He was very good about answering all my questions about Indonesian culture and society. I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour.
This tour was really super interesting and takes you to a part of Yogyakarta you would probably not see if you were on your own and Suryawan is a great guide !
