Sono un San Francescano tutto e per tutto! La mia famiglia è arrivata qui intorno al 1890 e da allora generazioni hanno vissuto e amato qui. Essendo un locale di quarta generazione, sono nato e cresciuto nell'area della baia, ho trascorso gran parte dei miei primi anni a San Francisco e ora sono entusiasta ogni giorno degli ultimi 28 anni di svegliarmi ogni giorno in questa bellissima città! In qualità di intrattenitore del passato, cantante e attuale istruttore di cucina, sono eccellente nel raccontare una storia in modo accattivante e colorato, ed essendo un appassionato di storia (con la mia materia preferita è San Francisco) lavorerò sodo per assicurarmi che tu goditi il tuo tempo con me.
Mark was very informed about the area. I loved hearing stories of his mother who had grown up there. It really gave perspective! And it was so interesting.
You cant go wrong with Mark's tour. So knowlegable. There was no question he couldn't answer. His familiar history with the neighbohood was amazing. When your family lives in a neighborhood for multiple gernations, it becomes a part of you. You could see his love for Mission and its history. Although the tour is not short, the pace is pleasant and without hills. So happy we choose to spend our morning with Mark.
Definitely worth this tour, mural art is part of the SF culture! Very interesting insights throughout the tour and helps to better understand the history of SF. Mark is a great guru & gave us loads of amazing recommendations for restaurants !
