Shoh was a fantastic guide - informative, insightful and funny! We had a fantastic time. The tour felt like a perfect balance between seeing cool stuff, being taught about the fascinating history of Khiva and having time to do our own thing and explore and take pics.
Very enjoyable morning tour with Shokhrukh within the old city walls of Khiva. He had a good sense of humor, was friendly and approachable, and sparked many discussions on a wide variety of topics throughout the tour. Khiva is a beautiful place with many sights to see, and Shokhrukh covered the highlights in an informative way with a good pace. I'd recommend booking with him.
We had a fantastic walking tour with Shokhrukh! He was very knowledgeable about the area (being a local) and had great English so was easy to understand. He kept a good pace and allowed us a bit of time to explore and take pics at each sight before moving on. One of our group was pregnant and he was helpful in suggesting stops for the toilet. At the end he even gave us restaurant recommendations and he helped us book a table at one of them. The recommendations were all brilliant when we got there too and we even bumped into Shokhrukh at one and ate together- such a friendly guy. Shokhrukh chatted in between sights about his life and upbringing and it was so interesting to learn about everything he shared with us. Would recommend a tour with Shokhrukh any day! Thank you!
Definitely a must do tour if you’re staying in Khiva ! Shokhrukh is extremely sweet and the tour was really good and fun! He explained everything in a fun and memorable way. We had visited some of the places the day before but when we re-visited them the next day we learned a lot and it was much more interesting. He gave us great recommendations food and other sites to explore as well. Thank you so much for this tour !
