I enjoyed Maaffar's walking tour and appreciated his knowledge and the tips he provided. The Marakesh medina can be a super overwhelming place so Maaffar's calm presence and seeing how many locals he knew and greeted him was reassuring and wonderful. I woukd highly recommend his walking tour.
This tour wasn't so much about all the major sites in the Marrakesh medina, it was more about places that we would never have found on our own. And this was good as i had already had a general tour of old Marrakesh. Hussain certainly knew his way around the souks, and gave us enough information. I liked that he gave us the option of visiting Ben Youssef Medersa with him, and he takes great photos of the architecture there (with or without us the walkers in his group)! Well worth going on the tour.
Maaffar was very informative and knowledgeable. He really knew the best places to eat the dishes we got to try. Showed us all the spots locals go to that tourists don’t know about bEven helped us find some super yummy dates at the end for us to buy and take home. Highly recommend !!
Very good indeed. Maaffar spoke perfect English. He is a licensed guide and was extremely knowledgeable about Marocco and Marrakesh. His tour covered tourist places but also many local artisan spots not frequented by tourists. Thank you Maaffar.
