Iam Maaffar houcine an English tour guide recognized by ministry of tourism in the kingdom of lights Morocco.
Before becoming an official tour guide in Morocco , I spent more then 4 years as a backpacker in many countries , in Africa and Europe, I love to share all my experiences and knowledge with other people to enrich our culture and our knowledge.
I’m from south of Morocco belonging to a Nomad family. I grew up in traveling all over the kingdom and I will be so happy to share all my experiences with you all .

One of the best walking tours I have ever taken. Maaffar was so knowledgeable and answered our endless questions. His passion for Morrocco and history was infectious and this tour made me fall in love with the city even more. He prides himself on not doing any of the touristy stuff which I can attest to. His recommendations were spot on, and he was honest about what would be worth our time and money. I can't thank Maaffar enough for showing us around the beautiful city.

Guide met me at the meeting spot, but since there were no other guests, we decided to reschedule to the next day. Happy we did as it was an amazingly informative tour.
Maafair guided tour was exceptional, his knowledge of Moroccan cultural, architecture, and history was outstanding. He explained the differences between Moorish and Andalusian architecture very well. Finally after the tour I have an understanding of the layout of the Marrakech medina and how to navigate my way through the medina to the local areas, away from the tourist strips. The guided walk exceeded my expectations.
