Iam Maaffar houcine an English tour guide recognized by ministry of tourism in the kingdom of lights Morocco.
Before becoming an official tour guide in Morocco , I spent more then 4 years as a backpacker in many countries , in Africa and Europe, I love to share all my experiences and knowledge with other people to enrich our culture and our knowledge.
I’m from south of Morocco belonging to a Nomad family. I grew up in traveling all over the kingdom and I will be so happy to share all my experiences with you all .

Thank you for the amazing tour, we really enjoyed the knowledge you shared with us.
Our guide, Maaffar, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information throughout the day. We appreciated that the tour started right on time, and he even extended the finish time by 10 minutes to ensure we had enough time for questions. However, I was disappointed to find that the tour did not cover the full itinerary. Based on the tour description, there were five main visits scheduled, but Maaffar missed the final two: the Mosque and the lamp visit. There was no information provided about these locations, and we bypassed them entirely. While I enjoyed the commentary provided during the first half, I don’t feel I received full value for my money since the tour was not finished as promised. Unfortunately, I left feeling like an unhappy customer due to these omissions.
Very knowledgeable guide, he can share a lot of about true Moroccan culture and how to tell it apart from “tourist” Morocco. Great tips about the zouk!
He was very kind and knowledgeable, guiding us through the maze of markets, workshops, and central neighborhoods. He seems to be well known and liked in the area, so we got to meet a lot of craftspeople. Highly recommended!
