The tour guide only sent an email one hour from tour to cancel. No further explanations given. Only when asked she said she had a family matter.
Yun Yun took us through the history of Xian and clearly explained the links between the sights and dynasties involved. We learnt a lot from her. She was patient, friendly and was a wealth of information. Highly recommend!
A most enjoyable and informative tour on my first morning in Xi'an. It helped greatly that Yunyun has experience of leading tours in Europe as it gives her an opportunity to contextualise Chinese and Western history. But it wasn't all history as Yunyun talked about current social and economic issues in China. Overall, this walking tour was a great introduction to Xi'an and I would highly recommended Yunyun as a tour guide with almost fluent English 👏👏
