A fantastic tour, highly recommended. Our guide, Jakub, was excellent. A lot of great information about Slovakia's history and how it shaped how the country is now. A good mix of facts, stories, history and sights, with our guide encouraging questions and interactions. A good pace to the tour too.
Jakub is a great guide! I thought I knew a bit about this history before, but he taught me a lot. He did so with good humor and also an honesty that sometimes you don’t see in conversations on difficult subjects. I’m super-happy for the chance to be part of his tour.
Bianka is a remarkable guide. I only signed up for this tour because friends I met on yesterday’s (great) World War II/Cold War walk were going. But from the start, with her 3-minute summary of centuries of history, through our post-tour walk down from the Castle, Bianka was engaging. For a first (or even second or third) day walking tour, I highly recommend.
